yeah...so i think ill just fill you in on the umm illinois band camp stuff.  first off, it was effing incredible.  like seriously, ive never had so much fun in my life x_x chya... so ok lets see, we flew to chicAgo, and then to some small city in the middle of nowhere w/a bunch of farms and flat land everywhere. ISU.  pretty cool campus.  the dorms were funny, my roommate was from around there, he was tight.  saturday and sunday was just like...leadership clinics with a bunch of speakers and games and such. the speakers were incredible, and just got u like pumped. basically we were all separated into 6 groups and rotated between 6 sections within the 2 days.  great fun.  met a bunch of ppl from alabama, with their hick accents, it was funny. southard and i would pretend to be like surfer kids and we'd be like "chya brah...dude we can go snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing all in the same day!" and everyone would be like woooah no way. haha. anywho... umm monday was the start of the actual music stuff.  jazz was sweeeet.  we'd have an improvisation class, then rehearsal (i got put in the second best jazz band ^_^.  yeah i owned my placement audition) and then lunch, then the faculty would do their jam sessions which were incredible, more rehearsal, dinner, umm jazz history class and then the night concert. every night thered be some crazy concert, like monday was young performer soloist kids who were crazy awesome, then the air force band, some asian string trio, a salsa band on thursday and then DCI on friday which was sweeet!  uuh saturday was our performances then we flew back.  the end.

Yeah, so I'm done with those movies for a while.  Been watching the Godfather movies, great stuff.   Went out with Ponz yesterday to hunt for a harmonica.  no luck, but we had tons of fun.  the phantom of the opera soundtrack is great.  wow, i must have ADD or something.  f-king cup mute for my trombone cost me $30.  and oh after 7 months, i finally got my mouthpiece removed from my euphonium! oh happy days.  band geek 4 life. ^_^   I'm thinking about having a movie night, gonna watch Ray or some crazy asian movie similar to spirited away.  tell me if ur interested.  Also need to go see Hitchhiker's guide, Crash, and Batman Begins. fffrruuuuuuuu.  wow this is a long post.  I havent been to the beach yet, blarg.  maybe next week. i have songs from Rent stuck in my head.  Marco and I might be going to watch Les Mis. in san francisco hopefully.  fathers day...crap i need to buy a gift.  ok, i think this is long enough.  shalom..
